We welcome you to experience the Origins of Wellness!
I have been fortunate enough to have a wonderful life of working in wellness modalities. I’ve spent the last 18 years working as a licensed technician and practice manager to improve the health of people and animals. While I understand the need for traditional medicine, I developed a keen interest in the holistic side of treatment. I believe that a balance between both practice methods is important, and thus my interest in holistic and prophylactic treatment was sparked.
I am a certified colon hydrotherapist who graduated from the Wood Hygienic Institute. I believe wholeheartedly that colon hydrotherapy is a crucial part of a well-thought-out plan to stay healthy.
I am also certified in the practice of JointYoga, which is a pain-free acupressure technique that offers an alternative to traditional chiropractic care.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and pets. I am also an avid equestrian and am often found participating in various horse-related sports.
In December of 2015, I became the owner of Origins of Wellness!
My name is Vanessa and I am married to my wonderful husband Matthew and am a mother of two young boys. I love learning new things and being immersed in knowledge and other cultures. I thoroughly enjoy family time, exercise and great food. I live a faith filled life and I love what I do for a living. I believe in connecting with each client and giving aid in helping the body help itself heal. Health is wealth, with good health the world is at your fingertips. Origins is definitely a place of wholesome positive energy and a peaceful place to heal and maintain health.
I am a Nationally Certified and State Licensed Massage Therapist from Lakeside School of Massage Therapy graduating class of 2011. I am also a Certified Colon Therapist since 2013 with schooling from Wood Hygienic Institute. I have a Bachelor of Individualized Learning with concentrations in biology and anthropology from Viterbo University class of 2009. I have traveled the world through my studies and I was a soccer collegiate scholar athlete during my time at Viterbo.
Hello there, I’m Gabrielle. I started my journey in the medical field as far back as I can remember. Although I enjoyed working in the medical field, I didn’t connect with various western medicine practices and corporate healthcare philosophies. The aspect I was most drawn to was the opportunity to help others, but I felt there was more I could do. This feeling led me to more natural paths and a “hands on” approach to healing through massage therapy.
In 2011 I graduated from Lakeside School of Massage Therapy, focusing my studies on many therapeutic modalities including deep tissue, trigger point, cupping, reflexology, hot stone and sports massage. My medical background has provided a deeper understanding of the power of massage and its effects on the body, not only physically, but also mentally and emotionally.
In addition to massage therapy, I have studied Esthetics. I graduated from Alexander Thomas Academy of Skin Care in 2013, where I obtained knowledge in facials, emplaning, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, laser, waxing and other body treatments. I love seeing my clients happy and pleased with the esthetics services I deliver.
In my spare time, I enjoy being with my family. Some of my other passions are listening to music, summertime, traveling, wine and chocolate, yum! I welcome you to visit me and test my hands, skills, and passion for my work. It couldn’t be more fulfilling to help others look and feel better!
"Good News Everyone!"
Now if you know that quote from a very funny show, we will just get along great. Humor, dad jokes and puns always tickles my funny bone ha. Being able to be funny and joke around is one of my best traits I bring to the table as a LMT. I feel laughter in general helps out our mind and body to the fullest by bringing it back to balance. With bringing my funny personality, wit and comical phrases into my sessions, I can help you feel 100 times better with your massage. Moving on to the information you have been waiting for... it's going
to be.. wait for it.. LEGENDARY.
I graduated from Herzing University in May 2017 as well did a year of clinical work at Lakeside Massage Clinic on campus. I have worked in different environments with massage; such as acupuncture, facial spas, chiropractors and newly introduced to holistic work with Origins of Wellness. From learning certain massage techniques in the past year, I was able to create my own technique with a twist to it. My techniques I use are more therapeutic style of massage mixed with rehab stretches for clients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries and much more.
I am certified in Deep tissue, Lymphatic drainage, Swedish, pre/post-natal, Hot stone, Himalayan Hot stone, Trigger Point Therapy, Reflexology, and Sports massage. My main goal is to help you bring back balance and a pain free life. To be able to do everyday things you love to do with a smile on your face and ours. :)
HI! I am a 2011 Massage Therapy/Bodywork Graduate from the Naturopathic Institute of Therapies and
Education located in Mount Pleasant, MI. In 2012 I became a Licensed Massage Therapist in the State of
Wisconsin and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
My massage therapy modalities include: Trigger Point Therapy, Deep Tissue, Reflexology,
Relaxation/Stress Relief. I am also a huge fan of the Essential Oils and promotes their benefits of relief
and relaxation through aromatherapy and personalized oil blends.
I stay active playing disc golf, swimming or hiking a trail. I enjoy spending time with my expecting wife,
Sarah and our families. Massage and Bodywork has enriched my life with a constant supply of
knowledge, discipline, wisdom and many wonderful people with amazing stories. I believe Massage
sessions can be similar, but rarely the same. I take the time to listen to each client, each session to
provide the best environment to achieve our intention. I am ready to help!
Hi, I am Kristine and I will be your massage therapist today. A little bit of my background, I earned my B.A. in Communications Studies from the University of North Texas and my Massage Therapy license from Herzing University (formerly Lake Side Clinic). I have been practicing massage since 2013, however I have been giving massages to friends and family for many more years. I spent the beginning of my professional life in the Legal Field and while I worked both worlds in tandem for five years, I transitioned into massage full time in Summer 2018. I specialize in deep tissue and therapeutic massage techniques.
The reason I chose massage therapy is the feeling of being of value and the sense I made a positive impact in someone’s life. You will always see me with a smile on my face and offering someone a glass of water. (Drink more water!!) I believe that a positive attitude and having a sincere and loving spirit adds to the serenity to the massage experience. My wish for you is that after the massage, you feel better educated on your benefits of massage and increasing relief for days to come.
My hobbies include traveling, hiking, doing DIY projects and spending time with friends and family. Feel free to say “Hi!” if you see me on any of the beautiful trails in Wisconsin or simply stop by Origins of Wellness.
Well hello there. I am Alex McCune, a 2013 graduate from Lakeside School of Massage Therapy. I am an active state licensed therapist and a proud member of AMTA. I am also a certified personal trainer. I’m just a laid-back guy who enjoys exercising, traveling, spending time with family, and hiking. I have a massage style that caters to you. I can adjust my pressure and techniques to your preference and offer some stretches to keep your body loose and pain free.
Similar to many other therapists, I have work experience in healthcare management. I formerly worked as a massage therapist alongside a neurological chiropractor and helped patients at a clinic that specialized in workers compensation claims & personal injuries. I used pain relief techniques to patients who suffered from whiplash, carpal tunnel syndrome, frozen shoulder, thoracic outlet syndrome, and herniated disks. I’m grateful for the healthcare experience that I have attained but my real passion is helping people feel better about themselves. Therapeutic massage allows me to help people not only look good but feel great!
I enjoy doing sports massage, aromatherapy, reflexology, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, deep tissue, and therapeutic massage. However, I am open to whatever modality you desire. Feel free to be vocal or just relax during your massage. Your experience will be led by your preference and I look forward to making that the most enjoyable for you.
I graduated from the 1000 hour Ayurveda Esthetics program at the Institute of Beauty and Wellness in February of 2020 and not too long after became certified in Professional Facial Gua Sha through Britta Plug’s Green Beauty Academy.
I am excited about results-driven natural therapies for skin health and rejuvenation informed by ancient traditions along with modern science.
I typically take a holistic approach emphasizing facial massage because it’s one of the best ways to stimulate the skin’s natural abilities and is simultaneously so stress-relieving to the nervous system and mind.
I believe skincare is self-care and is a pathway into greater well-being across body, mind, and soul and strive to provide a nurturing therapeutic space as well as encourage and teach clients how to bring that into their daily lives.
In my free time I enjoy the simplicity of making a healthy meal, going for walks in the fresh air, learning more about things I’m interested in, practicing yoga and dance, and time with loved ones.
I look forward to supporting and inspiring you in the transformation of your skin, health and beauty.
Hi, my name is Amanda and I graduated from Anthem College in Brookfield, WI where I earned my certification for Massage Therapy. I have been a licensed massage therapist since 2013 and love what I do. My goal is to give my clients an experience where they are able to escape reality and let go of all the stresses of life when they are on my table. Having someone fall asleep and start snoring is one of the best compliments I can get.
Overall I would say my style consists of slow and flowing movements to help promote relaxation as well as help the client mentally escape the stresses of reality.
Although I enjoy doing relaxation the most, I also enjoy some deeper work including trigger point and muscle stripping for clients looking for pain relief.
Another part of the job I love is connecting with people and learning about them and the type of person they are. They are more than just a body on the table and I enjoy getting to know my clients. Some clients prefer to talk during sessions and others don't but I leave that completely up to them. For me it is a bonus to have the opportunity to get to know people and their unique personality.
When I'm not working I enjoy spending time with my Fiancé and his son. We love the outdoors and love having campfires on our own little beach in the backyard. My favorite part about going up north is seeing the stars at night. I also love taking photos whenever I have the time. When we aren't out, we are enjoying our home with our dog and three cats.
I graduated from the Institute of Beauty and Wellness in February 2020 as an esthetician and Ayurvedic health counselor. Given my training, I prefer to take a more holistic approach to health and skincare, but I am also fascinated by more modern techniques. During my services, I like to incorporate aromatherapy, mindful breathing exercises, and other techniques to treat the mind, body, and spirit. My goal is to build a trusting relationship with all my clients and help bring them into balance.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy rock climbing, reading, and spending time with my friends or my cat.
My name is Tony Grimm. I have been practicing the John Barnes approach to Myofascial Release since 2012. In addition, I have been a practicing Massage Therapist since 2006. Also, I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology in 1990.
My mission in life is to help others achieve optimum health and wellness through Myofascial Release and/or Massage Therapy.
Hello! My name is Kellianne. I came to Milwaukee to earn my BS in Occupational Therapy and graduated in 2017; after graduation, I worked across the field in behavioral and mental health for the last 7 years. A year ago I felt called to massage therapy and graduated in April 2021. Throughout school I took an interest in cupping, connective tissue work, hot stone massage, and aromatherapy; I hope to continue the healing journey through touch!
In my free time I am an active aerialist and climbing enthusiast, if I’m not relaxing in the yard. I love movies, plants, and the magic of hair dye.
Hi, my name is Flip. I am the official greeter at Origins of Wellness. I love cuddles and being petted, as well as the occasional snack.
I have been an office dog my whole life, with a former career as a greeter at a veterinary clinic.
I also have double duty as security manager and will occasionally forget I'm supposed to be quiet and bark at other dogs! Sorry!
When not at work, I enjoy going to the barn, chasing cats, chickens and anything else that moves!
