We welcome you to experience the Origins of Wellness!
I have been fortunate enough to have a wonderful life of working in wellness modalities. I’ve spent the last 18 years working as a licensed technician and practice manager to improve the health of people and animals. While I understand the need for traditional medicine, I developed a keen interest in the holistic side of treatment. I believe that a balance between both practice methods is important, and thus my interest in holistic and prophylactic treatment was sparked.
I am a certified colon hydrotherapist who graduated from the Wood Hygienic Institute. I believe wholeheartedly that colon hydrotherapy is a crucial part of a well-thought-out plan to stay healthy.
I am also certified in the practice of JointYoga, which is a pain-free acupressure technique that offers an alternative to traditional chiropractic care.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and pets. I am also an avid equestrian and am often found participating in various horse-related sports.
In December of 2015, I became the owner of Origins of Wellness!
My name is Vanessa and I am married to my wonderful husband Matthew and am a mother of two young boys. I love learning new things and being immersed in knowledge and other cultures. I thoroughly enjoy family time, exercise and great food. I live a faith filled life and I love what I do for a living. I believe in connecting with each client and giving aid in helping the body help itself heal. Health is wealth, with good health the world is at your fingertips. Origins is definitely a place of wholesome positive energy and a peaceful place to heal and maintain health.
I am a Nationally Certified and State Licensed Massage Therapist from Lakeside School of Massage Therapy graduating class of 2011. I am also a Certified Colon Therapist since 2013 with schooling from Wood Hygienic Institute. I have a Bachelor of Individualized Learning with concentrations in biology and anthropology from Viterbo University class of 2009. I have traveled the world through my studies and I was a soccer collegiate scholar athlete during my time at Viterbo.
Hi, I am Kristine and I will be your massage therapist today. A little bit of my background, I earned my B.A. in Communications Studies from the University of North Texas and my Massage Therapy license from Herzing University (formerly Lake Side Clinic). I have been practicing massage since 2013, however I have been giving massages to friends and family for many more years. I spent the beginning of my professional life in the Legal Field and while I worked both worlds in tandem for five years, I transitioned into massage full time in Summer 2018. I specialize in deep tissue and therapeutic massage techniques.
The reason I chose massage therapy is the feeling of being of value and the sense I made a positive impact in someone’s life. You will always see me with a smile on my face and offering someone a glass of water. (Drink more water!!) I believe that a positive attitude and having a sincere and loving spirit adds to the serenity to the massage experience. My wish for you is that after the massage, you feel better educated on your benefits of massage and increasing relief for days to come.
My hobbies include traveling, hiking, doing DIY projects and spending time with friends and family. Feel free to say “Hi!” if you see me on any of the beautiful trails in Wisconsin or simply stop by Origins of Wellness.
Well hello there. I am Alex McCune, a 2013 graduate from Lakeside School of Massage Therapy. I am an active state licensed therapist and a proud member of AMTA. I am also a certified personal trainer. I’m just a laid-back guy who enjoys exercising, traveling, spending time with family, and hiking. I have a massage style that caters to you. I can adjust my pressure and techniques to your preference and offer some stretches to keep your body loose and pain free.
Similar to many other therapists, I have work experience in healthcare management. I formerly worked as a massage therapist alongside a neurological chiropractor and helped patients at a clinic that specialized in workers compensation claims & personal injuries. I used pain relief techniques to patients who suffered from whiplash, carpal tunnel syndrome, frozen shoulder, thoracic outlet syndrome, and herniated disks. I’m grateful for the healthcare experience that I have attained but my real passion is helping people feel better about themselves. Therapeutic massage allows me to help people not only look good but feel great!
I enjoy doing sports massage, aromatherapy, reflexology, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, deep tissue, and therapeutic massage. However, I am open to whatever modality you desire. Feel free to be vocal or just relax during your massage. Your experience will be led by your preference and I look forward to making that the most enjoyable for you.
Hi, my name is Amanda and I graduated from Anthem College in Brookfield, WI where I earned my certification for Massage Therapy. I have been a licensed massage therapist since 2013 and love what I do. My goal is to give my clients an experience where they are able to escape reality and let go of all the stresses of life when they are on my table. Having someone fall asleep and start snoring is one of the best compliments I can get.
Overall I would say my style consists of slow and flowing movements to help promote relaxation as well as help the client mentally escape the stresses of reality.
Although I enjoy doing relaxation the most, I also enjoy some deeper work including trigger point and muscle stripping for clients looking for pain relief.
Another part of the job I love is connecting with people and learning about them and the type of person they are. They are more than just a body on the table and I enjoy getting to know my clients. Some clients prefer to talk during sessions and others don't but I leave that completely up to them. For me it is a bonus to have the opportunity to get to know people and their unique personality.
When I'm not working I enjoy spending time with my Fiancé and his son. We love the outdoors and love having campfires on our own little beach in the backyard. My favorite part about going up north is seeing the stars at night. I also love taking photos whenever I have the time. When we aren't out, we are enjoying our home with our dog and three cats.
My name is Tony Grimm. I have been practicing the John Barnes approach to Myofascial Release since 2012. In addition, I have been a practicing Massage Therapist since 2006. Also, I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology in 1990.
My mission in life is to help others achieve optimum health and wellness through Myofascial Release and/or Massage Therapy.
Hello, my name is Heather. I am a Vici Capilli graduate and WI state licensed esthetician. Part time I am a boat captain, entrepreneur and marketing director for the Lake Geneva film club. I specialize in people. I have a passion for food, experiences, education and my beloved pets. I have a desire to help women and men, look and feel their best.
I have been in the customer service industry for over 30 years. When I started educating myself on nutrition and wellness, this became a main focus in my life which drew me to life changing decisions, that raised my interest in esthetics. Since then, I’m constantly educating myself to keep up with the information, that’s ever changing, on what we put into our bodies and how it may react to our body and skin.
My main goal for you, is for you to be able to relax in a quiet space while providing you with a calming experience. Life moves fast and it’s refreshing to take a pause.
My name is Kejsi Fishta, I was born in a small country in Europe called ALBANIA. I have been living in the US for a few years since I joined my husband in Milwaukee after our nuptials.
In 2016 graduated Nursing school back home.
I knew early on in life that I was leading toward a career that will truly make me happy and I genuinely enjoyed attending to people’s needs, even if it was something as simple as being the one to always have ibuprofen on my bag and offer it to a friend in need.
The reason that I choose Esthetic,
Is true passion for helping others, the feeling of even the smallest happiness I can bring to someone’s life, by improving their self-confidence through self-care.
Hello, I’m Abby! I’ve been Licensed as a Massage Therapist since September 2020. I graduated from Aveda - the Institute of Beauty and Wellness.
I enjoy connecting with my clients energetically, so I may better understand their body’s needs. I do this through deep breathing and observing the body’s subtle movements and vibrations as I work.
I feel for cold and hot spots that may be indicators of blood flow constrictions or high stress areas. I have a knack for finding all the little tension and stress points of the body and understanding of how tissue should feel.
My pressure ranges from light-firm and my specialty is working the hips and glutes.
Hi, my name is Flip. I am the official greeter at Origins of Wellness. I love cuddles and being petted, as well as the occasional snack.
I have been an office dog my whole life, with a former career as a greeter at a veterinary clinic.
I also have double duty as security manager and will occasionally forget I'm supposed to be quiet and bark at other dogs! Sorry!
When not at work, I enjoy going to the barn, chasing cats, chickens and anything else that moves!
