Meet the Staff
I have been fortunate enough to have a wonderful life of working in wellness modalities. I’ve spent the last 18 years working as a licensed technician and practice manager to improve the health of people and animals. While I understand the need for traditional medicine, I developed a keen interest in the holistic side of treatment. I believe that a balance between both practice methods is important, and thus my interest in holistic and prophylactic treatment was sparked.
I am a certified colon hydrotherapist who graduated from the Wood Hygienic Institute. I believe wholeheartedly that colon hydrotherapy is a crucial part of a well-thought-out plan to stay healthy.
I am also certified in the practice of JointYoga, which is a pain-free acupressure technique that offers an alternative to traditional chiropractic care.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and pets. I am also an avid equestrian and am often found participating in various horse-related sports.
In December of 2015, I became the owner of Origins of Wellness!
My name is Vanessa and I am married to my wonderful husband Matthew with a 2 year old son George and a baby on the way. I love learning new things and being immersed in knowledge and other cultures. I thoroughly enjoy family time, exercise and great food. I live a faith filled life and I love what I do for a living. I believe in connecting with each client and giving aid in helping the body help itself heal. Health is wealth, with good health the world is at your fingertips. Origins is definitely a place of wholesome positive energy and a peaceful place to heal and maintain health.
I am a Nationally Certified and State Licensed Massage Therapist from Lakeside School of Massage Therapy graduating class of 2011. I am also a Certified Colon Therapist since 2013 with schooling from Wood Hygienic Institute. I have a Bachelor of Individualized Learning with concentrations in biology and anthropology from Viterbo University class of 2009. I have traveled the world through my studies and I was a soccer collegiate scholar athlete during my time at Viterbo.
Massage Therapy is a second career for me. I have a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and spent several years in higher education. I bring an educator’s attitude to massage, investigating the cause of the client’s pain and adapting the treatment session to fit the client’s particular need.
As a widowed mom of three kids, I found massage to be an important part of my own self-care. Not only did it provide physical rewards, but there was an emotional component as well–a lifting of the mood and feeling supported. I was inspired to learn massage and share the wonderful physical and emotional benefits with others.
I like to employ Swedish massage techniques and incorporate reflexology, lymphatic massage, trigger point therapy, and myofascial techniques–whatever is needed to bring relief, increase flexibility, and reduce stress. I have specialized training in working with elder clients, pregnant clients during all stages of pregnancy, and those who have experienced trauma.
I am a graduate of Herzing University-Brookfield, WI. I received my diploma in Therapeutic Massage in September of 2014 and my Associate of Science degree in Chiropractic Radiology/Chiropractic Technician in December of 2015.
I attended Muskego High School until my graduation in 1996. Soon after, I left for the Air Force to dabble in the art of jet engine maintenance. Let’s just say, I have held several unorthodox jobs for a woman…leading up to this point!
As a mother of 2 very lively young men, I’ve grown to enjoy hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, clay shooting, car fixin’, mudding..if it’s outside, I like it!
I absolutely LOVE being a healer!! Nothing is more gratifying than having a job that helps people live their lives a little easier. My clients are amazing…. I couldn’t ask for a better career!!!
I’m someone who strives to help clients feel like a new person through therapeutic practices using stretching, range of motion and acupressure techniques. I learned my trade through Herzing University and Lakeside school of massage therapy. I have been in practice for nearly 3 years. I love meeting new people, making them feel comfortable and better about themselves especially when they’re in my care. I’ve helped clients – men, women and first timers – get over their skepticism about massage and having a male therapist. I’ve been told I’m the headache and migraine guru. It is the biggest compliment when a first time client says, “That was the best massage I ever had.” It makes me love my career even more when I can put people at ease and do good for someone in need!

Hello there, I’m Gabrielle. I started my journey in the medical field as far back as I can remember. Although I enjoyed working in the medical field, I didn’t connect with various western medicine practices and corporate healthcare philosophies. The aspect I was most drawn to was the opportunity to help others, but I felt there was more I could do. This feeling led me to more natural paths and a “hands on” approach to healing through massage therapy.
In 2011 I graduated from Lakeside School of Massage Therapy, focusing my studies on many therapeutic modalities including deep tissue, trigger point, cupping, reflexology, hot stone and sports massage. My medical background has provided a deeper understanding of the power of massage and its effects on the body, not only physically, but also mentally and emotionally.
In addition to massage therapy, I have studied Esthetics. I graduated from Alexander Thomas Academy of Skin Care in 2013, where I obtained knowledge in facials, emplaning, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, laser, waxing and other body treatments. I love seeing my clients happy and pleased with the esthetics services I deliver.
In my spare time, I enjoy being with my family. Some of my other passions are listening to music, summertime, traveling, wine and chocolate, yum! I welcome you to visit me and test my hands, skills, and passion for my work. It couldn’t be more fulfilling to help others look and feel better!
Nice to meet you, my name is Kayla! I am a state licensed esthetician, and makeup artist, with a passion for holistic care. Since graduating from VICI Aveda institute, my career as an esthetician has been quite the journey.
In my year and a half experience, I have become very comfortable around my clients, and its so rewarding to treat them just as I would my own family. I have always enjoyed hands on care, but esthetics is the most enjoyable outlet for me. I am always motivated to continue my education with advanced training, and I make sure to keep up with the market for both skin care, and cosmetics.
I am a very results driven therapist, and I try my best to understand my client’s lifestyle, so I can give the best customized care. I am known for a healing touch, while helping my clients relax and enjoy aroma therapy. I have been told that my flow is wonderful, and I really look forward to the massage time in my facials. I am here to help you in anyway that I can regarding your skin, health, beauty, and wellness!
